Difference between all the MBA courses
How different is the program of PGDBA from MBA. Both of them have the same level of credibility among universities and companies? Does it really matters to know what kind of certifications you will get from the institute after completing your masters program in management.
There is not much difference
There is not much difference as long as the value of the certification is concerned. It does not depend what is the name the certificate – MBA or PGDBA. It depends upon the certifying institute In India only Universities can issue MBA degree and that’s the reason IIMs and other private institutes provide Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management degree. Except the name there is no other difference and from the name you can’t say which is valued more by companies. All the universities provide MBA degree but the IIMs/private run inst gives PGDBA certificates. But don’t consider PGDBA is better than MBA because an MBA degree from FMS/USB Chandigarh has a better Wight age in all terms compared to the PGDBA given by any 3rd tier private B school .
